Earth Day

Today is the Earth day, so i will take the chance and write some things about environmental issues.
Did you know that every year, around 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide? Thats is a big damage to our planet because it takes more than 300 years for a plastic bag to break down and like all forms of plastic they do not biodegrade. Instead, they photodegrade, breaking down into toxic bits that contaminate soil, waterways and oceans. Imagine 500,000,000,000 bags every year x 300 years leftover…! That’s a lot of damage. So………REFUSE PLASTIC BAGS in shops, and try to recycle or reuse the ones that you already have. Buy a reusable cloth bag and keep it with you whenever you need it when you go shopping.
